Staff and owners were extremely attentive and made the dinner fantastic. They warned me not to eat all the bread, but I still managed to eat half my fettuccine!

Deeeeelish! Great food and service. We gobbled just about everything up. Also, always love when the manager or owner (not sure) comes out and says hello and asked how our meal was. We will be back for certain

Take Out Review. Ordered 2 Party Tray Pizzas (1 pepperoni, 1 special), a large order of bread, and a large tray of Antipasti Salad. They gave us extra plates, utensils, ranch, condiments. Everything was on time, prepared well, and tasted great. I would definitely order from them again.

This place is absolutely epic and everyone needs to go at least once!!!! This place has been here since 1964 and you can see all the history. I used to come here as a little kid and went back a few weeks ago and it's just gotten better with time. It's a family owned business. The ambiance is just so unique that everyone has to just go check it out to see what I mean. It's fascinating because it's this extremely authentic restaurant in the heart of East Dearborn which is very Arabic. The food is 5/5, you cannot go wrong!! Their bread is the same bread they made when I was little and it's so unique to this restaurant and the sister restaurant, Antonio's. I ordered the gnocchi. I would walk around the restaurant as well to see the decor. It's over the top and epic. You'll see what I mean when you go there. Service is excellent. This place is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Michigan. I'm half Italian and have been to Italy 14 times my life to visit family in the summers and I can tell you with absolute certainty no one does it better than this family!!! Antonio's is owned by the same family so you can check that place out too. Buon appetito!!

Dearborns #1 restaurant celebration of 60 years going on for the next couple months. A must visit for Dearborn Restaurant Week and NFL draft,  only minutes from the heart of Detroit. ROMAN VILLAGE CUCINA ITALIANA Open since 1964, the Roman Village Cucina Italiana Restaurant on Dix Road in Dearborn stands as one of Michigan's iconic dining venues for the last 60 years. That single restaurant is now part of a group of five restaurants, with the newest additions being named after Patrick's father: Antonio's Cucina Italiana. The four brothers help Mama Rita run the group of five restaurants. Long gone in Sw Detroit Vincent's and Sammy's pizzeria,  only Paul's opened 1962 and Roman Village remains.  This truly is part of Sw Detroit just a couple hundred yards to the border,  across from Patton Park and Woodmere Cemetery.  Had the very best deal all of Dearborn M-F lunch specials only $9.95, got the Famous Meatballs Panini .  Been a customer since opening,  thousands drive from all over Metro-Detroit each month.  I added the Sicilian Arachi be Cheese Stuffed Rice Balls,  yes I had all the balls .  She had fantastic Antipasto Salad with the marvelous Ranch Dressing,  a big basket of Hot Famous Bread hits the table before ordering .  House made fresh pasta inside the front door,  gets no better,  my favorite pasta dish Spaghetti Carbonara "Alla Bocelli" Prepared with eggs, Pancetta (bacon) and parmesan cheese. A recipe Andrea Bocelli prepared himself in our kitchen Totally blown away dozens of times,  the very best ever eaten.  Stay tuned Mama Rita making a Cookbook available in a few months Stay tuned .  See restaurant website for full menu https://antoniosrestaurants.com/ #romanvillage @romanvillage

Less popular I think but the food is miles better than it's counterpart, Antonio's. I prefer Roman Village for their sauces, which they really spend more time perfecting. Plus, from everything I've experienced their ownership and management are nicer, I've had some bad interactions at Antonio's before. Will be back always.
